Descrizione attività:
Nella primavera del 2016, ENPA ha aperto il primo CRAS (Centro Recupero Animali Selvatici) della Liguria.
Il nostro è un servizio alla biodiversità, per bilanciare per quanto possibile il danno dovuto alle attività antropiche. La Liguria è un importante corridoio ecologico, riferimento per svariati migratori e habitat di numerose specie a rischio.
Per questo è nato il nostro Centro, attrezzato ad accogliere la fauna selvatica – all’ambulatorio ai recinti isolati dall’ambiente urbano e protetti dalla vegetazione.
Il nostro fine ultimo è il rilascio degli animali, nella salvaguardia del patrimonio naturalistico della regione e nel rispetto delle esigenze dei selvatici.
Ci proponiamo anche come centro di ricerca e raccolta dati ma anche come sede di divulgazione. Durante tutto l’anno sono organizzati incontri per approfondire i temi legati all’ambiente e alla biodiversità, e per condividere le esperienze vissute al Centro.
